![]() And the rate offered is acknowleged by dd-wrt (Site Survey showing 1300 Mbps). The standard R7000 firmware can only inform me of the channels and rate offered. Where is the 450 Mbps (450 Tx, 600 Rx) speed reported on ? The Remote AP (R7000) ? ![]() This is the highest I have seen it (distance 2 meters to 8 meters). the rate the EA6900 gets is just 450 Mbps (450 Tx, 600 Rx). Posted: Wed 9:27 Post subject: Re: Client Bridge 5GHz rate problem What can I try to reach the 1300 Mpbs rate? It may be correct, but the rate the EA-6900 gets is just 450 Mbps (450 Tx, 600 Rx). When dd-wrt is connected, it claims it is using channels 48 + 46 with VHT80, whereas the R7000 is using/offering channels 36, 40, 44 and 48. I can use the LAN ports on the EA-6900 as if they were on my R7000.īut the speed is not exactly what I hoped, although it isn't exactly bad. I have dd-wrt configured as wireless bridge and entered the SSID and password and it connects to my R7000 and it works, i.e. It is announced as 1300(a/n/ac) with Channel at 48, RSSI at -33, Noise at -92, Beacon 100, Open No (Group-AES-CCMP Pair-AES-CCMP WPA2-PSK), dtim 0. It connects to a R7000 (running normal firmware, not dd-wrt) and it announces the 1300 rate which is acknowledged by dd-wrt on the ea-6900 (Site Survey). I am using the EA-6900 with DD-WRT 27506 and Asus CFE (to prevent 32K nvram bug, otherwise insignificant) and am using the router as a wireless bridge.
